I'M LEISHA, WEDDING & EVENT PLANNER, CREATIVE, NOVOCASTRIAN, FRIEND & COMPLETE LOVER OF LOVE.
It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you truly ache for – & if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing. It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool – for love – for your dreams – for the adventure of being alive.
Stamped more than a few times as a “ray of sunshine” or a “beam of positivity”, I am a self proclaimed barrel of laughs & an absolute work horse. A true Novocastrian (Newcastle, AUS for our outta-towners), a proud fur-mumma to my furry AF ragdolls, Bella & Hunter & a loving partner to my hunk-a-spunk, Ross.
You’ll usually find me sipping soy mochas or an amaretto sour! A real sense of wonder, constantly exploring new ideas & improvements, fantasising about future possibilities... or watching some good ole trashy TV (the trashier the better, haha).
I've spent most of my life sprinting through the hospitality & events industry, from grad day til the day I launched Chameleon Directive... Cafes, bars, clubs, fine-dining, bistros, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, wakes, festivals, luncheons, product launches, you name it, I've done it! I am the bones of Chameleon with hopes of bringing a fun & fresh approach to wedding & events planning - not falling into the old fuddy-duddy ways of the industry & breaking boundaries from the 'norm'.
I tend to see life as a big, complex puzzle where everything is connected, through a prism of emotion, compassion & mysticism, and I'm always looking for a deeper meaning.
This wonder with the magnificent breadth & detail in the world propels me further & deeper than others are willing or able to go. I am in constant development, shifting, presenting new angles & new approaches.

Right in the heart of Chameleon Directive lives a serious passion for weddings & events, an enormous amount of industry knowledge & know-hows. You'll never be short of expert advice on current themes, biggest & best locations/venues, local stockists, spotlight vendors & any of the details you might need to achieve the dream team it takes to master your big day!
Planning, creating & coordinating an array of design concepts, timelines, budgets, proposals, locations, elaborate requests.. alongside all walks of life. We compose our events to not only be visually pleasing but also flawless in delivery.
Whether it's an elopement, an intimate wedding or a luxe extravaganza, Chameleon Directive will guide you from beginning to end, from the day you say "we need a wedding planner" through to the day you take off your dancing shoes & say "we bloody did it!"
We'll organise a catch-up over zoom so you can ask all the questions your heart desires & get a feel for what it’ll be like working together.
I'll put together a proposal for the services we discussed would be best for your big day, a quote & probably some witty puns will come your way.
Once you've given me the gold star, the go ahead, the thumbs up, accepted your quote, signed a cheeky contract & paid your booking fee... the ball starts rolling.
Then we get into the nitty gritty, we'll lay down the law - gently, of course. Discussing your budget, priorities, logistics... all of the mumbo jumbo.
Before you know it, the big day rolls around & you're more ready than ever! You're kicking your shoes off with the love of your life, saying thank f* we got a planner!
